Sometimes the most beautiful moments are in the transitions. I decided to use this photo as my Day 16-Side Plank for #balancebasics because it shows a process, the in between where my mind must get still to create a stillness in my body. Just finished an amazing 90 min Ashtanga primary series with @jivajean at @jivayogacenter. A little wiped out but refreshed for sure! Day 13-Forearm Scorpion for #septemberbender with @devvy_loses_it @twoyogamamas and @bendy_bamboo. I haven’t been practicing this pose as much lately as I have been the past few months. It’s always good when you revisit a pose, and even though it may be a bit wobbley, your body remembers where it needs to go to find balance. This pose was one of those that I would have let fear steal from me had it not been for yoga challenges…I’m so glad I gave this pose over to love, it’s one of my favorites. ❤️ music by the amazing #trevorhall.
